A crown protects and restores a weak or root-canal-treated tooth. Its cost depends mostly on the material, and on whether any build-up of the tooth is needed first.
We don't quote one fixed price because every case is different. After examining your teeth we explain every option and its full cost before treatment starts, so there are no surprises.
What affects the cost of dental crown treatment?
- Material. Metal-ceramic crowns cost less; zirconia (metal-free, more natural-looking) costs more.
- Front or back tooth. Front teeth usually need the most natural-looking material.
- Core build-up. A tooth that has lost a lot of structure may need a build-up before the crown.
- Number of units. Bridges replace missing teeth using several connected crowns.
- Lab and scans. Digital scans or impressions and the dental lab's work are part of the cost.

- Tooth preparation
- Impression or scan
